Frequently Asked Questions
What is Your Turnaround Time?
It depends. As long as all tax forms and documentation have been submitted, the turnaround time for tax filings will be about 3 business days. During peak season, turnaround time may increase.
What Should I Bring to My Onboarding Session?
Great question! Please click here to save and download the What To Bring Sheet.
Can I Pay for My Tax Preparation with Part of My Refund?
Yes, we offer a refund transfer which allows us to deduct the cost of the tax preparation and associated bank fees from the refund due. The funds will be available via direct deposit, check, or Netspend card.
Why is My Refund Less Than Expected?
There are many instances where the expected refund does not match the actual refund given by the IRS or state. Some of these instances include overdue federal and/or state tax debts, past due child support, unemployment debts owed, and outstanding federal student loan repayments.
Where's My Refund?
Upon completion of your tax return, your tax adviser will provide you with your expected refund amount(s). Once the return has been accepted by the IRS, you can use the IRS Where’s My Refund tool for federal refund status updates.* Most state tax departments are also able to provide state refund updates.
*Except if you choose a bank product for payment.
Do You Assist With Financial Reconstruction?
For active businesses, yes! We just require that you provide an EIN and an adequate amount of financial records to get started. We will work with you to organize your records for the following year as well.
